Colin Cameron

Office Administration Instructor 

Colin Cameron has over 25 years of teaching experience in a variety of settings. He began teaching information technology in 1999 to students in the Business and Entrepreneurship, Forestry, Environment, and IT programs at Selkirk College. Since then, his teaching career has seen him teach high school English & information technology, basic computer skills to seniors, video game making to youth, grades 5 & 7 as a generalist, and an employment workshop facilitator. Colin holds both a Bachelor and Master of education, a Bachelor of Art in Sociology, and an Information Technology Certificate. He delights in helping students find and realize their potential and believes in VIU’s Office Administration program as a wonderful first step to a rewarding career.

Terri Barber

Office Administration Instructor

Terri Barber has over 20 years’ experience teaching in the Office Administration program, teaching both online and in the classroom. She has taught a wide variety of the courses in the program but specializes in Microsoft Office computer applications, as well as human relations and office administration skills. Terri holds a Provincial Instructor’s Diploma from Vancouver Community College and a Masters of Education degree from Athabasca University (Distance Education specialty). She believes strongly in the opportunities and skills the training in Office Administration provides for its students – she too was once a student in the program!
